KNITS
Knits should be hand washed with cool water and a gentle detergent. Never wring or hang wet knits. Lay them flat to dry on a towel. See care labels for any special washing instructions. Lint rollers may be used between washing’s to remove light dirt. Store knit hats as you would a winter sweater.
*Do not wash knits with fur accents. Spot clean only.

FELTS
Lint rollers may be used for light cleaning and dirt removal. For more stubborn stains, spot clean using a clean dry toothbrush and brush in the direction of the nap. Work the stain from the outer edges in You may simultaneously use an adhesive roller to lift out dirt as it is being worked out by the brush. Never use the same brush on dark felts as light felts. Store felt hats by filling the crown with tissue paper and placing the hat in a box in a dry, cool place.

STRAW & PAPER
Lint rollers and brushes maybe used for light cleaning and dirt removal. For stains use a cloth and warm water to lightly dab away dirt. Equal parts hydrogen peroxide and water can be mixed as a cleaning solution but should be used minimally to prevent shrinking or warping of straw. Store straw hats by filling the crown with tissue paper and placing the hat in a box in a dry, cool place.

FABRICS
The cleaning of fabric hats depends on fiber content. Spot cleaning with a mild detergent is recommended for most pieces. Always text a discrete area first before attempting stain removal. See care label for any special cleaning directions. Fabric hats may be stored in a box to preserve its shape.
